Error:
File is locked. Please try again.
Cause:
The file being saved or closed is currently open in Microsoft Quick View. Quick View has locked the file.
Solution:
Close the Quick View window. Open the file in Excel.
1) Press ALT+TAB until the Quick View window box appears to switch to the Quick View window.
2) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Exit' to close Quick View.
3) Return to Excel.
4) Open the document in Excel.
